If your kids are into video games, then they’ve probably heard of the Wii U. The system is made by Nintendo and is home to some excellent multiplayer games. Here are some Wii U games that both you and your kids will love.
Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U is the latest game in the kart racing franchise. In this iteration, vehicles have the ability to morph into an anti gravity mode and drive on the walls and ceilings. The game also marks the first appearance of certain guest characters from other Nintendo franchises, such as Link from the Legend of Zelda, and Villager and Isabelle from Animal Crossing. The game features local and online play, and the ability to upload races to YouTube, making it a great game for kids who want to interact with their friends.
Super Mario 3D World is a Wii U game with a similar play style to Super Mario 3D Land on the 3DS, but with a twist. This time, instead of Princess Peach being kidnapped, she is a playable character, much like in Super Mario Bros 2. Four players can participate in the game, using new power ups such as the cat suit, which lets players climb on walls. The game is also compatible with multiple controllers, so each kid can use whatever suits their preferences. Continue reading “Wii U Games For Kids And Parents”
If you are in the position to buy video games for kids, the process is not as complicated as you may believe. Here are a few tips that will help you make the right selection.
The first thing you should do is check out the rating of the video games you plan to buy. Depending on their age, many games may not be very appropriate. For example, there are some games that contain things like nudity, violence and vulgar language. The ratings will help you determine which of these issues, if any, are present. If you’re opposed to having any contact with bad influences, have them go outside and climb a tree.
The next thing you want to consider is the preferences of the child you are buying the game for. Are they interested in games that are high-energy and filled with action scenes, or are they more interested in games that require them to build entire cities from scratch? This should be taken into consideration so you don’t end up wasting your money on a game they are not interested in playing.
Price is one of the last things that have to be considered when buying video games for children. Knowing the price range that you are comfortable with will significantly narrow down all of the options that are available to you. While this is an important factor, it is not one that should be considered at the beginning. The rating and the game preferences of the child are far more important.
If you are heading to the store to get a video game for a child, there are a few things that you should keep in mind along the way. As long as you remember all of the information you were just told, you should be able to find a game that the children will love and you will have enough money to pay for.

What do you know about the best video games for kids in 2016? There are so many gaming systems and platforms. I used to think that anything handheld was going to go by the wayside because of the graphics getting better and better for gaming consoles, but after some time, they have become as popular as they ever were.
In fact, kids use them for on the go gaming, and they really enjoy never having to put their games down. My oldest boy has a Nintendo 3DS, and he takes it with him everywhere. For gaming at home, he has both an XBOX One and a Playstation 4. Of course, he’s always playing games on his tablet at home as well as his PSP and his 3DS.
Sure he has quite a few systems, and other kids might not have them all. Still, Continue reading “Video Games For Kids & The Many Different Platforms & Consoles”
Hello and Hola! My name is Javier, and I am the proud father of 4 wonderful children. All of them love playing video games, so I have done a good amount of research on what is appropriate for kids to play. I don’t want much violence and prefer to have games that teach reasoning, shapes, and strategy.
My wife recommended that I write about it in hopes of sharing good information with other parents. I think that is a great idea, and I hope to help people in their search. I am also learning about the internet at the same time and setting up a blog ha ha.
Thank you again, and stay tuned for my reviews.
